We are delighted to have secured £2m for a complete refurbishment of Diss Swimming Pool and are looking forward to an announcement about a completely new Gym & Fitness centre in the town in coming months.
We are keeping pools open as many other Councils close theirs down. All our pools are being converted to air-source heating to reduce both running costs and emissions.
Learning to swim is an important life skill that breeds confidence and saves lives. All this allows us to keep our promise to teach 3,000 youngsters a year to swim in our popular swim schools, which now run throughout the year.
