Forncett ward – Kim Carsok

Your Conservative Candidate for Forncett ward

Forncett ward is home to 2700 electors in Forncett • Tacolneston • Tharston and Hapton • Wacton and is represented by one Councillor on South Norfolk Council.

All across South Norfolk forty six Conservative community champions are standing in this election, each dedicated to solving local problems, growing a stronger, greener economy that we can all be proud of and creating better lives for local people one family at a time, one street at a time and one place at a time.
Here in Forncett ward, Kim Carsok is the Conservative candidate who hopes that you will support her on polling day.

About Kim

Kim was born in a small tourist town called Grand Haven in the state of Michigan, USA, to Jeff and Rose Carsok in 1985.   Kim is married to Jimmy and has two young children and has a professional career in project management in the international events industry.
A genuine all-rounder, Kim moved to Germany and then to London. When overseas she worked in lots of different jobs in cafes, a pub, as a private English tutor and as a translator for an agency. Kim knows that living abroad and operating in a foreign language is a big challenge but gives you interesting perspectives you wouldn’t otherwise gain.
She says “When we moved to Norfolk in 2018 we knew that South Norfolk could be our home and a great place to raise a family. Wymondham and the surrounding villages is just like the places I grew up and local people have made us all so welcome.”
She threw herself into local volunteering and leads the annual Wymondham In Bloom activities. She has become an experienced Town Councillor and community champion.
She is now co-director of a digital marketing company, as well as running Wymondham’s award-winning community magazine. This has given her great links with local businesses and community groups, which she brings to her council work.
Being a mother means Kim has a particularly personal stake in the quality of local parks, playgrounds and wide open spaces. She appreciates the quality of our historic built environment and the special character of our conservation areas and listed buildings, which go back hundreds of years.
She is also passionate about the health and wellbeing of people of all ages and has a keen interest in preserving the environment.
Kim has the time, energy and commitment to be a District Councillor. She has a proven track record of standing up for local people. If elected, she will be the strong voice local people need and deserve to solve their problems and get things done.
She says “Local people need someone to stand up for them on the local Council and, if elected, I hope to be in a position to get things sorted for local people in the Forncett area.”
“I derive a great deal of personal satisfaction from helping ensure council tax money is used wisely to improve lives and I hope that you will support me at the polls on 4th May.”
