Your Conservative Candidates for Hethersett
All across South Norfolk forty six Conservative community champions are standing in this election, each dedicated to solving local problems and growing a stronger economy and creating better lives for local people one family at a time, one street at a time and one place at a time. Here in Hethersett Ward our three local Conservative Councillors work hard to improve your lives.
About David
David is retired consultant who specialised in troubleshooting IT projects. He is an experienced District Councillor who has represented Hethersett for nearly 1 6 years and on the County Council since 2017. He is a former Chairman of the Council
He is active in the local community and is a founder member and Chairman of Hethersett Dementia Support Group. He is Secretary of the local Woodhall Place Residents Association and Secretary of the Queens Head Hethersett Golf Society.
He has supported community projects in Bawburgh, Hethersett & Little Melton including village halls, sporting clubs, senior citizen travel, farmers markets, childrens’ nursery and more.
David is very aware of local problems and has led local efforts to secure land for a new surgery as well as coordinating efforts with the local NHS to prove the need for expanding the practice.
He aims to work with residents by listening to their views, concerns and acting where possible or advising them on the right direction to take.

About Kathryn

Kathryn lives locally with her her husband David and four grown up boys,
Previously she worked as a regional journalist, for the Eastern Daily Press for over 20 years, covering stories all over Norfolk and highlighting local issues as well as celebrating local achievements.
Now she owns a small business which centres around her love of dogs and the countryside.
She is committed to finding ways to cater for the area’s young people by providing better facilities for leisure and sport. She will always support small businesses and promote Hethersett and surrounding areas as a good place to live, work and play.
