About Kay
Kay is an experienced Councillor who has represented the local area for the last twelve years. She lives in Chedgrave and is married to Michael, she is the mother of three children. Kay was a senior executive with a marine sciences company and has a professional legal background.
She is Chairman of the Loddon Parish Council and Kay believes in public service and enjoys giving her time as a councillor and volunteer. As Deputy Leader at South Norfolk, she oversees Governance and Efficiency at the Council. She also serves as the County Councillor for Loddon,
During her time as a Councillor she is proud to have delivered the roundabout on George Lane, has help secure the funding to reopen the Wherrymans Way, and assisted with the set-up of the Chet Valley Community Larder.
She has secured grants for local play areas and voluntary groups and is active in addressing anti-social behaviour, liaising with the Police and being a contact for local people to air their concerns.
Kay says “I enjoy representing people, solving problems, and getting involved in the issues that matter locally. If re-elected I will continue to work hard and do my best for residents. I will campaign for improved facilities, a better quality of life for all and to ensure your council provies quality services and value for money.”
