Local Conservatives are supporting Tony Holden as their Conservative Candidate.

Tony Holden was born and raised in the villages close to West Depwade, and understands the challenges and benefits of rural life. Tony lives in nearby Wymondham with his wife Samantha, his two grown-up stepchildren and family dogs, if elected he will give this demanding role his full attention and time.

Tony says

“It is a great pleasure and honour to be chosen as your Conservative candidate here in the Mulbarton and Stoke Holy Cross ward.

I grew up in this area, in Bracon Ash, so I have a very strong association with the village and its surroundings.

I expect many of you feel disappointed and let down that there needs to be a by-election.

I don’t blame you, I don’t think anyone was really expecting it so soon into the four-year term.

I can assure you though, I’m not going to walk away.  I’ve already served at district council, including chairing the commercial trading and customer focus committee, so I’m well aware of the work ethic required.

But the most important part of the job to me is speaking to you and listening to your concerns, issues and needs in your parishes. Whether it’s where your kids travel to school, where you see a GP or the bins, I want to hear from you.
Now to get on my bike and meet as many of you as I can. See you soon!”
